We are a software company operating in the energy sector. Our world class Software as a Service platform is the go-to option for leading energy suppliers and new market entrants alike.

In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the full spectrum of hardware and software needs of our colleagues here at ENSEK. Be that setting up laptops and user access or helping with internal infrastructure and local directory related activities.

Responsibilities

  1. Day to day oversight and management of tickets relating to internal service requests.
  2. Technical support and new set up of laptop and software, including inventory management.
  3. Installation of software and hardware for colleagues.
  4. Diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  5. Management and maintenance of meeting room and video conferencing systems.

Key Skills

SOFTWARE/HARDWARE

You will have the skills required to troubleshoot everything ranging from low level issues between user and keyboard through to potentially complex network and infrastructure investigations.

PATIENCE

You are patient and understand that not everyone is as natural with technology as you are. You can explain technology in simple terms and adapt your approach to individuals.

TICKET MANAGEMENT

You are comfortable working from a ITSM toolset and managing your own workload, Communicating any risks to internal SLA adherence and keeping internal stakeholders up to date with progress ad timescales.
