As a business that has achieved industry leading levels of growth in recent years, we want to build further on that success by expanding into new geographies and adding to the client base.

Reporting to the Director of Delivery, the Head of Transformation will be responsible for ensuring the effective adoption and optimisation of ENSEK’s products and services to support this growth. These programmes of work are strategically critical to the business and require management across multiple internal and external functions and stakeholders.

This person will be key in providing a laser focus on product/service optimisation and will provide the vision and direction for a team of Transformation specialists in multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  1. Build and lead a high functioning Transformation team in multiple locations
  2. Provide the vision and direction for the Transformation function across ENSEK
  3. Support a programme of complex implementations across all ENSEK products and services
  4. Work with clients during the pre-sales process to shape client thinking around decision making and the adoption of a SaaS based business model
  5. Ensure that post implementation ENSEK’s products and services are successfully adopted and optimised by our clients
  6. Ensure that ENSEK has a transparent, predictable and sustainable Transformation methodology
  7. Establish and proactively refine a Transformation framework and best practice into teams across the business to develop maturity around approach, planning and execution of work
  8. Take accountability for managing execution risk, ensuring risks are understood and prioritised and that serious risks do not unexpectedly derail progress
  9. Be accountable for hiring and filling gaps in the Transformation team
  10. Utilise a network of external partners to optimise the Transformation model
  11. Effectively prioritise and allocate resources across the Transformation portfolio
  12. Provide a single view of Transformation progress across the business with appropriate performance tracking and quality assurance
  13. Bring governance to the Transformation portfolio that allows ENSEK to deliver effectively at pace


OTHER RELEVANT DUTIES

  1. Select the appropriate tools for the job to manage progress against KPIs and project status.
  2. Cultivate a climate of continuous learning, identifying and implementing ways to improve productivity and quality of ENSEK’s processes and services
  3. Maintain a broad understanding of practices and developments relevant to the energy sector and your area of specialism
  4. Promote and maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and teamwork across ENSEK
  5. Be willing to travel in order to build relationships in person (subject to COVID restrictions)
  6. Own the cadence of performance communication and regular progress updates for key projects

Key Skills

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  1. Able to deliver a complex business transformation projects, prioritise effectively, assess and manage risk
  2. Confident in the use of optimisation tools and techniques that are appropriate for the situation, partnered with dynamism and flexibility in order to achieve the right outcomes
  3. Experienced in IT project delivery and process optimisation
  4. Identify and manage dependencies across teams and disciplines, ensuring that stakeholders understand critical paths through projects and migration management
  5. Proven experience in working for a fast-paced product-led tech business, adept in agile delivery strategies, planning and quality methodologies
  6. Confidently manage stakeholder expectations, as well as negotiate with 3rd party Suppliers and all associated communication
  7. Experience of undertaking complex business transformations including operational structures, procedures and best practice
  8. Experience of working in complex, multi-priority matrix organisations, with expertise dealing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  9. Take a collaborative approach and foster strong working relationships within Growth, Product and Engineering as well as across other departments within ENSEK

  6. Mentor / coach others whilst leading teams via influence and persuasion
  7. A flexible attitude and able to thrive in a high pressure environment
  8. Willingness to work in a fast-moving matrix environment and values the importance of teamwork
  9. Proven ability to manage multiple third-party supplier relationships
  10. Successful track record of technology led business transformation projects
  11. Experience in Energy/Utilities would be advantageous but not essential
