In a Nutshell

This is a rare opportunity to assess, design and then deliver employee training across our expanding business. We genuinely want ENSEK to be a fantastic place for our employees to develop and grow. To do this we need to ensure they feel knowledgeable about our business and our products, and that they are equipped to manage people and projects. Your initial focus will be in the design and delivery of a range of personal development, management skills and onboarding training modules. In this new, remote working world it's critical that you have built and delivered both face to face and online digital training. We are looking for a creative, incredibly engaging and enthusiastic learning professional to drive the learning agenda. Is that you?

  1. The start point in this role is a company- and job-wide training needs analysis, identifying the common people development training themes across the business.
  2. Whilst part of the wider HR team, this is a standalone role within it, so you’d be the person to speak to on any learning and development matters, organising your own courses, delivery, training records. The full L&D lifecycle.
  3. Assessing the latest learning tools and methods we could use to be at the cutting edge of online digital training.
  4. Hands-on, designing course content, delivering the training yourself, and at times with others.
  5. You’ll have to design truly flexible courses and materials that can be delivered remotely, face to face or some combination of the two (video, podcasts, webinars, stand-up training).
  6. It’s likely you will be working on learning in these key areas: interview and selection, onboarding, line manager toolkit, health and safety, diversity, leadership, and, on occasion, drawing on the knowledge of our in-house experts to create regulatory, energy industry knowhow, and product overviews.

Key Skills

You must have current and relevant experience in online digital training. It's critical in this job and we’d want to see examples of hands-on course content and how you delivered it.

Engagement is key. In the remote working world, you will be able to show us how you have grabbed the attention of your audience, kept them engaged and driven home the learning.

You’ll need to show you have built cutting-edge training materials. PowerPoint slides won’t cut it. You’ll wow us with your take on training delivery mechanisms that genuinely engage people and fit with the ‘new normal’.

You’ll be relentlessly positive and resilient. You’ll be a ‘yes we can’ person by nature, with a smile on your face and a genuine desire to help our staff plus deliver the wider HR team road map. To do that well, you will need to show you are structured, organised and on top of your brief.
