2018 ENSEK future goals

With another momentous year behind us, and as we head into the first full week of 2018, it’s a great time to reflect on the successes we’ve seen over the last year, and to look ahead to what 2018 has in store.

2016 saw us launch Ignition, our leading market entry solution, and move to a new office space in the centre of Nottingham. 2017 has seen ENSEK continue to grow and we’ve achieved some significant milestones as a business.

We’re really pleased to have supported a number of new energy suppliers into the market, facilitating new supply models and propositions and it’s been great to see how customers have responded through switching to these offers in the market.

Despite commentators suggesting last year that the energy industry was reaching saturation point, there’s been continued interest in market entry across both the residential and commercial sectors and we’re already seeing this interest continue as we enter a new year.

We’ve also seen increasing interest from the B2B space, with Flexitricity announcing their partnership with us in November as an example of this. We’re looking forward to seeing what Flexitricity and our other pioneering clients will bring to the energy sector.

One of the most notable milestones for us as a business was the multi-million pound investment by LDC to support our growth over the coming years.

2017 also saw us named by Clearwater International as one of the UK’s top 20 cloud tech businesses – for a sector dubbed ‘the last analogue industry’, this is testament to our commitment to bringing the UK energy sector into the digital age.

Looking to the year ahead, we’ll be focusing on delivering for our clients – old and new – and continuing to build on the strong foundations we’ve built with our market-leading retail energy platform.
