Bas Liebens, brings over a decade of industry experience to the EnTech leader, playing a key role in its EMEA acceleration.
Nottingham, UK, 1st December 2021 – ENSEK, the leading global retail energy SaaS provider, today announced Bas Liebens has been named Managing Director, Benelux.
In his new role, Liebens will spearhead growth across the region, supporting Benelux customers with the digital energy transition, while leading on the onboarding process of Eneco Belgium, a major Belgian energy supplier.
Liebens comes with over 10 years of experience working in the energy industry across different European markets including Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. Prior to joining ENSEK, Liebens was the CEO of Elegant, a Belgian energy provider, where he gained expertise on green electricity and natural gas. With experience working supplier side, he brings a vast understanding of the challenges energy suppliers encounter in a highly regulated and competitive market, which is going through a significant change.
