ENSEK Values Launch: Building a Culture of Success
June was a milestone month for ENSEK. Across our Nottingham and London offices, and for those joining online, there was a brilliant energy. Real engagement, genuine conversation, and a shared sense that this matters as we grow.
We launched our company values, and unlike a lot of corporate exercises, these didn't come from a boardroom. They came from observing ENSEK at its best. The behaviours, decisions, and standards that already exist across our teams when we're operating at our highest level.
Why This Matters
Jon Slade, our CEO, put it well:
"Values discussions can sometimes prompt understandable scepticism, and we heard some of that too—and that's healthy. If our values are going to mean anything, they cannot just be words on a page or something we talk about once and move on from. They have to show up in how we work, how we make decisions, how we support each other and how we deliver for our customers."
What resonated most was the honesty. These values aren't aspirational fluff, they're a clearer expression of what's already helped make ENSEK what it is.
What This Means Going Forward
This isn't a one-off event. We're committed to living these values every day. In how we hire, how we make decisions, and how we serve our customers. It shapes everything we do.
