Grace Rothery moves from Gazprom Energy, bringing 10-years’ experience to leading EnTech provider.
Nottingham, UK, 9th November 2021 – ENSEK, the leading global retail energy SaaS provider, today announced that Grace Rothery has been named UK Managing Director. In her new role, Rothery will maintain strong partnerships with ENSEK’s UK customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while supporting their digital energy transition.
Rothery brings over 10 years of experience in the gas, electricity, and green energy industries. Prior to joining ENSEK, she was Head of UK Retail at Gazprom Energy, the largest B2B gas supplier in the UK. Here she led the company to retain its market-leading position, implemented and coordinated a customer excellence function, and was responsible for its high-quality end-to-end customer journey.
With experience working supplier-side, she brings extensive knowledge of the challenges ENSEK’s customers face. She will focus on maintaining strong relationships with new and existing UK customers at a time when ENSEK is expanding internationally into mainland Europe and APAC, while the energy landscape rapidly evolves and responds to market challenges.
“The energy market is fundamentally shifting. What’s important now to the end-user are additional services and how suppliers are tackling the energy transition,”commented Rothery. “It’s an exciting time to join ENSEK as it is truly positioned to provide the agility and capability needed to drive the transformation that’s happening in the industry.
“ENSEK is at the forefront of this movement, not just because of its cutting-edge technology, but also because of the strong relationships it has with customers. Our customers view ENSEK as a strategic partner, and I can’t wait to work with them closely through this energy revolution.”
Not only does Rothery join at a pivotal time in the company’s growth, but also at a time when the world of work is constantly changing. As such she will navigate the UK business in a way that instills ENSEK’s culture and values throughout the business, holding on to what makes it a great organisation to work for, and with.
“We’re thrilled to have Grace onboard; she is a seasoned leader and shares our passion of providing excellent customer experience,” added Jon Slade, CEO at ENSEK. “I know that she’ll play an important part in achieving ENSEK’s goals of supporting our clients’ growth and giving them the vital tools and services to succeed on their transformation journey.”
ENSEK’s purpose is to accelerate the digital energy transition.
